Wenger and Ueli Steck. It is a natural bond between two Swiss who both have their sights set on the summits. After their first meeting a few months ago, it soon became apparent that the Jura-based company and the mountaineer shared the same awareness of quality, a multi-functional approach and meticulous attention to detail. Rather than being a financial sponsor, Wenger preferred to be a partner to Ueli Steck. That is why they are working together to develop several knives specially designed for climbers and other mountain lovers and for adventurers who use a base camp as the first stage of their ascent.

During his last expedition, the mountaineer tested several knives from the Wenger models range, including the lightest of all, the Nail Clip in its Soft Touch version. Manufactured from the finest stainless steel, this pocket knife with a built-in nail clipper and non-slip rubber surface makes an ideal addition to every compact backpack. This tool went with him every day and was a boon in all kinds of situations. Through this cooperation, Wenger proposes to support Ueli Steck in his goal of integrating modern mountaineering into all his expeditions. Wenger thus will acquire new knowledge thanks to this exceptional mountaineer.
