Wenger Sea Force 1000m: In depth with time

Wenger has gone in depth, in order to provide a perfectly balanced timepiece, which will appeal to divers and land-lovers alike. To achieve this, Wenger combined its deep creative, technical and innovative skills.

A precious tool for the diving professional on the edge of an abyss, the Wenger Sea Force 1000m, is also a functional aesthetic accessory to be worn on all occasions.

In order to meet the rigorous fabrication standards required by a 100 ATM watch, Wenger used the highest quality materials, such as 316L stainless steel, a special screw-on back and ultra resistant gaskets to insure perfect air tightness.

The Wenger Sea Force 1000m is equipped with a Swiss Made quartz movement. It measures 44.5mm in length, 43.0mm wide and 14.6mm high. The lug width is 22mm. The case has smooth rounded edges and is very finely brushed with polished sides. The scratch resistant coated crystal is approximately 4mm thick and sits slightly proud of the bezel. In terms of weight it’s fairly light for a divers watch, making it very comfortable to wear. The Wenger Sea Force 1000m weighs 195 grams with the bracelet.

The bezel has a distinctive design with a large luminescent dot at 12 o’clock and minutes marked in 5 minute intervals, as well as bold numbers every 10 minutes. It has 60 tight click rotations. The bezel-rim has slanted serrated edges, which make for an excellent grip, even with gloves.

The Wenger Sea Force 1000m has a protected screw down crown, which takes just over 2 1⁄2 complete turns to unscrew. The threads engage easily and screwing and unscrewing is very smooth. The crown is signed with the Wenger Cross.

The luminosity of the Wenger Sea Force 1000m, is very bright due to the use of three layers of Superluminova, thus making it easier to register time in the dark depths of the sea. The dial has luminous Arabic numerals and hour markers, a seconds track and a framed date box at 4 o'clock.

The bracelet is brushed and has two polished rows that flow down to the clasp. Its fitted with a double locking flip mechanism clasp, which has a built in diver's extension. It is strong and sturdy and very comfortable to wear. The classic multi-link bracelet maintains its 22mm width, over its whole length through to the clasp.

The Wenger Sea Force 1000m is offered in three color combinations, metallic white dial / red bezel, silver sunburst dial / dark green bezel and black dial / black bezel.

Continuing the deep tradition of quality synonymous with the Wenger Timepiece Collection, the Wenger Sea Force 1000m will all be commercialized in a set box, which will include the watch fitted with the stainless steel bracelet, a rubber divers strap and a fitting tool, as well as a limited three year warranty.
